The massages on the booth tell our story.

Please tell doctors not to stop the war on cancer.
Cancer drugs are not what is threatening the health care system.

We are grateful every day for the drug that has extended Don's life by another 6 years.

Easter 2014

Pastor Sarah Breckenridge reading the Easter Gospel at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi Minnesota.
Orchestra and choirs, American Sing Language interpreted.

Ice finally went out on the lake on Easter Sunday.

Mallards (and egrets) were swimming in the park when we went for our hour run after church.

We appreciated seeing three precious grandnieces and a nephew today.

PS The odometer on our Saturn read 100,000 miles as we drove into the church parking lot on Easter Sunday morning.

The sun was shining all day and the snow is actually almost gone!

And CHRIST is risen indeed!

Arctic Vortex in Minnesota

Sub-zero temperatures, high winds, snow every other day

Tuesday, actual temperature -13 (that's 13 below zero) hearty Minnesota walkers braved the winds and low temps to turn up at the athletic club dome to walk. On our way into the building we were passed by a cute little seven-year-old toting her skates and gear in a wheeled crate. At 7:30am, she had ICE TIME! Even in January, life goes on in Minnesota.

PS. The high for tomorrow is minus 2. Friday it will get up to 29 and snow again. Got to love Minnesota.
